When did you like animals?

Mom didn't really like, but Dad really like animals. Since young, whenever Dad went out and if he saw an abandon dog, he will bring it back home. Just like that, the dog brought back will be raised until it finds a better owner. After months and years long together with affection, every-time the puppy is being sent out, it is painful, so it is natural to have fondness on animals.

How do I say? There has been no opportunity as I need to continue working on work. The first break since I debuted was after the TV series <Fox Bride Star>, I felt very lucky and had the desire to do it. If there is another work coming, it would be a pity to miss it. I was really happy when I was acting. But it was sad after <I'm not a Robot> end. Although there was physical hard work, but the dog I was raising had passed away at that time and shooting of the TV series had already begun. It was a situation that needed to be fully invested. It was very hard in all aspects. At that time, for the first time, I had a thinking of "it can't repeat twice". Starring as lead roles than others

Is it? Haha. After deciding to act, I debuted on <Thursday Romance>, and at that time I decided to go for acting. Although I couldn't go to school because of the drama, I learned a lot through the collision on acting. After that, I made an advertising shoot, and played a challenging role in the TV show <Spy> as a North Korean agent who works with the NIS. Since then, I have been starring in dramas surprisingly. I can't believe it. I didn't think about the determination of "I must be a star" when I audited. I really appreciate I got chosen as a newcomer actor. Because of the responsibilities to do well, and afraid. I tend to cry a lot. Like really a lot.

As the starring, it is not only the acting experience, but also the sense of burden of coming out of a work after the ending.

In <Strongest Deliveryman>, I didn't think about the ratings very much, because this is simply the character I want to play, and I only focus on the characters I want to portray. Originally, it is impossible to let others to perform, but after approaching it, it was not like that. Before that, I would be timid to try first, but after a long time, I wouldn't think so. No, Why do you cry often!

Haha. I am worried that I am not able to do well. I am very scared when I am acting. It is not just that I can act as an actress. As a starring role, I have to consider more aspects. In fact, I still don't know how to overcome it.

<Henry Grandpa and I> is a very long performance right?

At stage the power from the audience really gives a huge strength. Although the performance on the stage needs to focus on the cooperation with the opponent actors, it is when the audience feels the feelings we convey and feels a common sense and responded immediately, at that moment I felt really happy. This is different from the power conveyed from TV series as all the staff are focused to provide the best scenes.

Because it is a work with the senior actor together, the rehearsal feels like exam

The two are really great seniors whom I respect. The reason why I chose this work is that it is very difficult to have this opportunity to stand up with two predecessors. In fact, I was scared at first, and I can clearly see my deficiency from their eyes during rehearsal. But what is unexpected is that the two predecessors are very warm and cool. What they learned was not only in acting, but also the enthusiasm for acting, which is very admirable.

The first opportunity to generate ideas for acting?

During 2nd-3rd year in elementary school, I believe that actors really live this life. Experienced a variety of life, and marry the person you love, looks very interesting. When I was in high school, I was stunned by the actor profession, so I told my mother that I wanted to be an actor, but she opposed. No one in my family works in art-related work, She doesn't think I have this ability, so the response at the time was "What are you doing...". Later, when I was in high school, I met the former company representative. When I was 20, my mother agreed. Actually, I don't know how much I can go. After trying it out, although it feels different from the imagination, it is still interesting. You can try to go deep into someone's life, you can become a person who can't be in person, or you can be a person who can't tolerate people. The most important thing is to try understanding people.

As an actor, have you consider other direction to develop?

In the past, there was not much for me to choose my work. Now this range is gradually expanding, but I can't just say "I want to play this!" Especially when I want to do things without planning. Although I don't know what kind of works can be with me, I still have to worry about how to show a completely different look than the role I played before.

As an actor, what do you think are your strengths and weaknesses?

Strengths and weaknesses seems to be unseen appearances. Compared with other beautiful artists, my looks are not vivid and gorgeous, as if they are born naturally. Haha.

If people don't understand Chae Soo Bin, will there be any misunderstanding?

First impression they will think I am very contrived, but after a few chatting, they will find that it is different from what they imagined. When I was a student, I was always chosen as the friend with the least impression and personality. Actually I want to show the true character, but I am very scared. Even if I play the role of being scolded, because it is the character I showed, there will be a pity. Even now it is hard to live a good life, if someone points me out, I will blame myself. I wish to show everyone the inner stronger side of me.

Have you ever thought of performing in a variety show?

When I am a student in acting school, I didn't have a helping hand too. I don't have a lot fans too. When I participated in <Great National Talk Show> program, I showed the personal skills of two elbow touching each other. Haha. When I was reading the script, I had to stand up and say hello to everyone, "I am Chae Soo Bin, please take good care of me" when crews are entering. It was really hard. When you finally have feast, you have to stand up and say hello, but your heart is thinking 'beg you, beg you, don't call me, don't call me' because you have to do it, so I still feel the burden. Because it is in such character, I feel that variety shows are difficult.

During acting, what are the moments you want to do well?

If you are tired or in a bad state, sometimes you will not be able to cultivate your feelings. At that time, I felt really happy. Of course, when I hear the comfort of seeing my performance, I feel very meaningful.

Looking at the respected seniors, I started to think "When can I be at their level?" With that thinking, however I didn't think of "I have to be like them". During the new-comer period, I was often asked if what kind of idol I want to be, but it would not be done according to the plan as I just want to do my things properly.
